“Their pre-loss documentation is the reason our claim was approved at full replacement value instead of being written off as wear and tear. That report paid for itself many times over.”

Who We Are
A bonded, insured commercial and government roofing contractor headquartered in New Jersey and performing work nationwide. Here is how we got here and how we operate.
Iron Dome Roofing started in New Jersey with a single standard: design and install every roof for the conditions it will meet, then document every layer, fastener, and flashing. Nor'easters, hail, freeze-thaw cycles, and salt air taught us that the roofs that last are the ones built without shortcuts.
As the buildings grew, so did the compliance burden. Warehouses, schools, clinics, and municipal facilities demanded more than a watertight membrane. They required submittals, bonding, certified payroll, prevailing wage compliance, warranty registration, and closeout documentation. We built our systems around those requirements. Today, commercial, institutional, and government roofing is all we do, supported by leadership from an established Indiana commercial and government roofing operation.
Headquarters in Garwood, New Jersey. Midwest operations in Indianapolis. Between the two we mobilize nationwide for single buildings, multi-site portfolios, and out-of-state government contracts. Same crews, same safety plans, same documentation standard on every roof.
Four promises we make on every roof, whether it is a firehouse or a million square feet of warehouse.
Every roof we touch leaves a paper trail: condition photos, core results, thermal imagery, daily logs, and closeout files. When a claim, an audit, or a warranty question comes up years later, you have the receipts.
Bonding, prevailing wage, certified payroll, badging, submittals. None of it slows us down, because we do it every week. Owners and contracting officers get a contractor who already speaks the language.
If your roof has ten years left, we will say so and walk away from the sale. Recommending a coating when a coating is right, and a tear-off only when it is really needed, is why facility teams keep our number.
Site-specific safety plans, trained crews, fall protection on every project, no exceptions. No schedule is worth somebody's family getting a phone call.
How A Project Goes
Every roof we take on follows the same story, start to finish, so you always know where we are and what comes next.
We get on the roof with you, pull cores where we need them, and map trapped moisture with infrared or drone imaging so nothing is a guess.
You get a written scope, the system we recommend and why, submittals, schedule, bonding, and warranty terms, priced line by line.
Phased work under a documented safety plan, scheduled around your people, your security rules, and your operating hours.
Punch walk together, warranty registered, as-builts and certified payroll delivered, and a maintenance plan so the roof stays the way we left it.
In Their Words
Three stories from owners and facility teams who let us on their roofs.

“Phased the re-roof around our operating schedule and never shut a single loading dock. Submittals, certified payroll, and closeout documents all came in clean and on time.”

“Infrared survey found trapped moisture in three sections we were about to coat. They rescoped the project and saved us from paying twice.”
